For the fourth year, employees and volunteers for Bahgat & Laurito-Bahgat, CPAs and BLB Insurance Agency served up chicken dinners in the Fredonia Village Square to raise funds for Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care. The dinners were prepared by Weidner BBQ, of Eden, NY and raised a total of $2,025 in support of the programs at Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care.

The beautiful weather played a part in the success of this year’s event. 400 dinners were sold compared to 325 last year.

“It was a fun day and the weather cooperated. Thank you to our employees, volunteers and the many people who supported this wonderful event,” said B&LB Managing Director, Sham Bahgat. “The Village and Police Department are always very cooperative and we couldn’t have been successful without their help.”

Many people and organizations make the event successful including Basil Chevrolet Buick Cadillac, Northern Chautauqua Realty, Fredonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Niebel Realty and Larson Timko Funeral Home to name a few.

“We’re grateful to our friends at BLB for supporting our mission,” said Shauna Anderson, President & CEO of CHPC. “This event fills the downtown with delicious smells and reminds everyone how important the work is that we do for our friends and neighbors.”

The mission of Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care is to provide comprehensive palliative care and end of life care and education. For more information, visit www.CHPC.care or call 338-0033.
