The ladies of the Brocton Preceptor Beta Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met on Tuesday evening, Nov. 12 at Grace and Abe’s Restaurant in Westfield for dinner, a short meeting and social hour.

The Social Committee announced plans for their upcoming Christmas Party at the home of Marie Zambotti on Tuesday, Dec. 10. In case the weather is looking inclement for that evening, they will change the date to Monday, Dec. 9. Everyone will bring an ornament for exchange, a dish to pass and a gift for their Secret Sister. On Tuesday, Dec. 17, the ladies will enjoy another Spa Day at “Spa on the Avenue” beginning at 3 p.m.

The Service Committee of Lois Smith, Josie Lantz and Janice Hipwell recently cleaned up the Brocton Arch Park of the unsightly dead plants. Only the mums remain. Next spring, the ladies will replant the park garden again with beautiful flowers.

A thank you note was read from the Brocton-Portland Food Pantry for the recent donation of $100. Get well cards were sent out to members of the community.

The next meeting will be held at the home of Judy Travis on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 6:.30. Josie Lantz will present the program for the evening.
