Veterans and their families are invited to attend the official ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the new Dunkirk VA Clinic. The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. today with light refreshments, tours and VA health care enrollment opportunity until 3 p.m. at the clinic’s new location, 1170 Central Ave.

The new Dunkirk VA Clinic will provide a full range of onsite and telehealth services for Veterans to include primary care, mental health, laboratory, and women’s health services using the Veteran Health Administration’s proven Patient Aligned Care Team model. Providers are Nabil Jamal, MD, a board-certified physician in Family Practice medicine, and Stephen Snyder, PA, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Along with their clinical and administrative staff, they will continue to provide excellent care in an updated and welcoming environment.

VA Western New York Healthcare System has been serving Veterans in a community-based setting in the Dunkirk area since 1998. This new location is operated by STG International, Inc. Previously scheduled appointments will be honored. The facility has been open for business since Monday and is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Free parking is available in front of the building.
