Pine Valley’s new superintendent to start work Monday

SOUTH DAYTON — A new superintendent will head the Pine Valley Central School District in December as Interim Superintendent James Przepasniak’s term comes to an end.

The new superintendent of Pine Valley Central School District, Bryna Booth, will begin her contract with the District on Dec. 1 with her first day working being Monday, Dec. 2.

“Mrs. Booth has an outstanding record of administrative experience,” says Pine Valley Board of Education President Jeffery Chase. “Her energy and commitment to the Pine Valley school community, coupled with her educational leadership and willingness to engage stakeholders, will serve our students and community well.”

Bryna Booth joins Pine Valley from Sherman Central School District, where she has most recently worked as the Pre-K to12 principal and director of special education. She is excited to return to Pine Valley, where she attended Kindergarten to Grade 8.

“My career thus far has focused on improving outcomes for all stakeholders, creating more opportunities for students, and building strong relationships,” says Booth. “I am so energized to continue this work in the District that formed so much of who I am.”

Mrs. Booth was appointed as District Superintendent on Wednesday, October 30 at the Pine Valley Board of Education meeting signing a three and one-half-year contract with the district.
