Libraries to host Census job events
Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System is working with local Census Complete Count committees to support the 2020 Census effort.
The Census Bureau is currently looking to hire more people from the area to help with the 2020 count. The rate is $18 per hour and time can be flexible. If you are interested in finding out more or have questions, stop in at one of libraries listed below for a Census job event between Dec. 12-14 and Jan. 23-25. A Census representative will be available to answer any questions and help with the online application.
Dec. 12 — Falconer Library from 2:30-4:30 p.m., Fluvanna Library from 3-5 p.m., Little Valley Library from 5-7 p.m.
Dec. 13 — Patterson Library in Westfield 2-4 p.m.
Dec. 14 — Fredonia library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sinclairville Library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Jan. 23 — Jamestown Prendergast Library from 4-6 p.m., Ellington Library from 5-7 p.m., Lakewood Library from 5-7 p.m.
Jan. 24 — Myers Library in Frewsburg from 3-5 p.m., Mayville Library from 12-2 p.m.
