Chairing his first Pomfret Town Board meeting Jan. 8, new Town Supervisor Dan Pacos (right) outlined his first week in office. Pacos said he met with Highway Superintendent Jude Gardner and Town Attorney Jeff Passafaro (second from right) on Jan. 2, the day after he was sworn in. He talked to town Planning Board members Jan. 6, and they discussed what was coming up in 2020. Pacos also mentioned a long conversation with Dave Fridmann, town Zoning Board chairman, on the issues facing that body. In addition, Pacos said he planned to meet with Fredonia mayor Douglas Essek the next day to discuss collaboration between the town and the village.
