Jamestown, Clymer successful in High School Bowl

JAMESTOWN — Jamestown High School defeated Cassadaga Valley Central School 56-23 in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at Jamestown Community College.

In another match, Clymer Central School defeated Randolph Central School 72-26.

Camden Austin and Abigail Roof of Jamestown and Emily Mills and Ian Dunnewold of Clymer earned Player of the Match honors.

Representing Jamestown were Darren Dunn, Veronica Hansen, and Daniel Swanson.

The Cassadaga Valley team included Max Pingitore, Emily Wakelee, Jon Zybert, Nick Denslow, Rae Lessinger, and Chris Bacon.

Clymer team members included Becky Sullivan, Callie Carter, Michael TeWinkle, Hayden Battaglia, Jonathan Simpkins, and Jacob Murphy.

Reesee Burroughs, Zach Farren, and Kam Finch were on the Randolph team.

High School Bowl, now in its 59th year, is produced by Media One Group in cooperation with JCC. High School Bowl airs at 12:10 p.m. on Saturdays on radio station WJTN and at 7 a.m. on Sundays on radio station WWSE. Matches can also be heard online at radiojamestown.com/podcasts.
