Prevention Works offering workshop on motivational speaking in March

JAMESTOWN — The session, “Motivational Interviewing: How to Negotiate Inner Change within a Recoveree” will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at UPMC Chautauqua WCA Auditorium, 207 Foote Avenue, Jamestown. The fee is $100. Participants attending this workshop will be trained on how to prepare, initiate, perform, and follow-up a motivational interview when interacting with potential clients or patients. Included will be role-playing in the second half of the day so that participants will be educated, rehearsed and ready to go upon re-entering into their field of expertise.
