Two charged after leaving 8-year-old home alone
RANDOLPH — Two Randolph residents were arrested for allegedly leaving a child home alone in the middle of the night.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to 9 Church St., Randolph for a welfare check Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. There they discovered an 8-year-old had been left unattended in the residence for an undisclosed period of time. Alexandria Renner, 27, and Carrie Renner, 54, were both charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
They were issued appearance tickets and will appear in Randolph Town Court at a later date.
