Community Bank N.A. supports renovations at YWCA Westfield

WESTFIELD — The Community Bank N.A. Westfield, branch March 10 presented YWCA Westfield with a $1,000 donation to support its Airbnb renovation campaign. Through Airbnb, YWCA Westfield offers lodging in the heart of downtown Westfield in a former turn-of-the-century living quarters for nurses training at Westfield Hospital. All funds from the rentals help support YWCA programs and services.

“We’re proud to support the YWCA’s renovations of their Airbnb rentals,” Community Bank N.A. District Manager Carl Swan said. “The lodging is an amazing location that offers visitors the chance to explore all that our area has to offer. Not to mention, your rental supports YWCA Westfield! We look forward to seeing the renovations completed.”

The YWCA Westfield was established in 1894 to meet the needs of the women and girls in the community. Its mission is to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice and freedom for all. As a non-profit organization, the YWCA’s programming is funded largely by grants, memberships and donations from community members
