Town of Persia board meetings cancelled

GOWANDA — As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, in accordance with Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.1, members of the public will not be permitted to attend the Town of Persia Board Meetings scheduled for April 9 and May 14, unless the state of emergency is rescinded.

The meeting will be transcribed and recorded per executive order 202.1, and then posted to the town’s official website as usual, at https://www.townofpersia.com.

Members of the community may email questions for the town board to johnwalgus@townofpersia.com. Please include your name, address and phone number in your correspondence, so that they may be included in the official minutes of the meeting. The town board will address your questions and concerns during the regularly scheduled meetings.
