Work at Routes 20 and 60 on the roundabout appears to be nearing completion.

“After a temporary pause in the project to install additional drainage structures that mitigate potential flooding, work resumed in early fall and construction of the center island of the roundabout has begun,” Jim Morrissey, director of communications for the state Department of Transportation told the recently.

“New pavement, pavement markings and required signage will also be installed as part of the project.”

Work resumed on the roundabout in September after it came to a screeching halt by the DOT in early July. Paving was taking place Thursday.
