The Kiwanis Club of Silver Creek said its long-standing tradition of “Christmas In The Park” will carry on this year. It will be held Saturday from noon-3 p.m. Santa Claus will be visiting with children in the Village Square bandstand on Park Place from noon-3 p.m., and he will be joined by a special guest “Comet,” one of Santa’s favorite reindeers. The event will be held rain, snow or shine. Should it be raining, Santa may land next door at the Village Ballpark pavilion. All community children and their families are encouraged to stop by and join Santa in spreading some holiday cheer.
