Squadron 59 Sons of the American Legion Post 59, located at 156 E. Main St. Fredonia, held its monthly meeting on Nov. 17.

Members in attendance include Rod Dziduch, Larry Fiorella, Rick Holly, Rick MacDonald, Jim Wright and Doug McPherson. Excused were David Dengler, Tom Muldowney and Dave Winchell.

Committee reports included:

Adjutant Fiorello — The minutes from October were read to the committee. A motion was made by McPherson to accept, seconded by Holly and passed unanimously. Jim Thompson’s application was accepted.

Commander Dziduch — The Veterans Day ceremony was sparsely attended due to the pandemic; McPherson and MacDonald. attended

Finance Officer’s Report by Fiorello — The bank reconciliation was passed out. The Fiscal 2021 P&L was passed out. A motion was made to accept reports by MacDonald, seconded by McPherson and passed unanimously.

1st Vice Commander (membership Doug McPherson): 30 more dues were collected. Five more are to be sent to state. Holly motioned to accept; Dziduch seconded, and the motion passed unanimously

New business (including correspondence): Fiorella motioned to donate $100 gift cards to the Dunkirk VA CBOC Clinic as directed by the budget quarterly. The motion was seconded by Holly and passed unanimously.
