Huber seeks Villenova board seat

Nancy Huber

VILLENOVA — Nancy L. Huber is seeking election to the Villenova Town Board.

She has been a registered nurse at Kaleida Health since 1978 with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing. She was chief steward at CWA Local 1122 since 1980 and served as area vice president West for CWA Local 1122 from 2017 to 2020.

Huber also served in the United States Army Reserve from 1986 to 1994 as a Army Nurse honorable discharged at the rank of captain.

“I have lived in Villenova with my husband Marty since 2012 on a property that has been in our family since the late 1960s,” she said. “I am an experienced leader in the nursing profession, the union and the military. My goal as a town board member is to insure that all town board business is transparent and communicated to Villenova residents.

“I would be an advocate for all residents and would welcome residents input on all town board decisions.

“I am concerned about the possibility of an increase in property taxes related to reassessment of properties. I do not think that residents of Villenova can afford a property tax increase at this time. I am committed to the health and welfare of Villenova residents and will work tirelessly for you.”
