WESTFIELD — A 65-year-old man has died after being hit by a vehicle on East Main Street in the village.

Westfield police report Thomas M. Baideme, who was not using a crosswalk, was hit by a vehicle exiting the McDonald’s parking lot and heading westbound around 9:50 p.m. Sunday. Baideme was pronounced dead at the scene and no charges have been filed. An autopsy will take place at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department Accident Reconstruction Team assisted in the investigation.
