Music on the Pier is back and still going strong. Hundreds gathered in Memorial Park Thursday to usher in the summer season with headline band SFO — A Journey Tribute, out of Nashville, TN. The six-member band moved through hits such as “Faithfully,” “Anyway You Want It” and “Don’t Stop Believin'” as concert-goers swayed to the melodies. The band also payed tribute to Foreigner and Kansas, with hits like “Hold On” and “Urgent” peppered throughout their set. Music on the Pier will take place every Thursday starting at 5:25 p.m. in Memorial Park until mid August as the Dunkirk Pier continues construction.
