A Silver Creek man is facing charges after a motor vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon. According to State Police, Kevin M Schunk, 28, was traveling west on Route 5, in the town of Sheridan around 2:50 p.m. in a 2013 Chevy Equinox when he hit a Chevy Tahoe driven by Ekaphong Okhamvilaysack, 41, of Chaffee, NY. Schunk was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital. Okhamvilaysack was transported to Lake Shore Hospital for chest pains. Schunk has been charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. He also allegedly was driving with a suspended registration for having no insurance on vehicle.
