Aria Paff (left) was selected by the Brocton Middle School faculty and staff as Student of the Month for January 2020. Aria is currently a seventh grader at Brocton and resides in Brocton with her parents, Melissa and Ari Paff.

Aria participates in competition dance and would like to start a tumbling club. Aria’s accolades include receiving Student of the Month and Perfect Attendance during the 2018-2019 school year.

Aria’s favorite subject is Math. She would like to be a hairstylist in the future.

Karina Hernandez Cruz (right) was selected by the Brocton High School faculty and staff as Student of the Month for January 2020. Karina is the daughter of Felix Hernandez and Josefa Cruz-Gomez of Fredonia.

Karina is a high-honor roll student focused on serving her school and community. She is Vice President of the Freshman Class. She is a member of Honor Society and Student Council. She also volunteers for her church’s ham dinner, helps hand out candy for the Trick-or-Treat event at BCS and volunteers at Greystone Nature Preserve.

Karina’s favorite subjects are English and Global Studies. She will be attending the Upward Bound program this summer.
