Historic planes fly over Dunkirk
A cloudy morning nearly prevented a historic airplane from visiting Northern Chautauqua County. The National Wartime Museum was scheduled to fly over the local area around 10:20 a.m. today, however some poor weather delayed their visit until Saturday afternoon. But as the sun came out, the NWM was able to bring its very own Douglas C-47, affectionately named Whiskey 7, and two other planes around 4:30 p.m.
The purpose of the flyover was to honor first responders and essential workers.
The planes started in Geneseo and also flew over Buffalo and Rochester.
