POLASIK, Mary L.: Loving wife of Richard D. Polasik, beloved mother of Rick Polasik and Kelly (Jack) Chlosta both of Hamburg, granddaughter Jaylin Chlosta; sister of Frances Jezioro of Angola, Myrta (Louis) Catalano of Angola, Dominic (Sharon) Damico of Tennessee, her K-9 granddog Hogan, along with many nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents the late Dominic and Leona (Hatch) Damico, brother Anthony Damico, brothers-in-law John Polasik, Edward Jezioro, sister-in-law Helen “Pat” Damico. A Christian burial service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk. Burial will be in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery. DROZDIEL, Dorothy W.: Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock in St. John’s United Church of Christ in Dunkirk. Pastor Zoe Milliman officiated. The eulogy was given by Shirley Drozdiel. Pallbearers were Tim Gornikiewicz, Robert Krzyzanowicz, Joe Affronte, Mike Affronte, Jeff Affronte, and Gerald Drozdiel. DYE, Charles R. Sr.: Charles R. Dye, Sr., 61, of Creek Road, Forestville, died Sunday, May 15, 2016 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Cumberland, MD on March 20, 1955. Husband of Charlene J. (Howard) Dye of Forestville, father of Jacob (Amanda) Dye, of Ft. Dix, NJ; Charles (Magdalena) Dye, Jr., of Dunkirk; Thomas Dye of Maine; two daughters, Pam (Phil Erick) Dye of Forestville and Melissa Borowiak of Forestville; two brothers, Roy and Paul Dye; and three sisters, Dorothy Myers, Sharon Thomas and Anna Dye. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Angie (Broadwater) Dye, by four brothers: Jimmy, Billy, Donald and Louis Dye; and by a sister, Donna Fields. Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Thursday from 24 and 79 p.m., from where Funeral Services will be held Friday morning at 10 o’clock, with Rev. James D. Witherington, Jr., Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass of Christial Burial that will be celebrated for him on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10 am from St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church, 12 Central Ave. in Brocton, New York. BIALASZEWSKI, Martha A.: Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Church Church of St. Hedwig. A Mass of Christian Burial was concelebrated by the Rev. Matt Nycz, the Rev. Joseph Janaczek, Msgr. Thomas Crane, the Rev. Thomas Wopperer and the Rev. Walter Werbicki. The pall was placed on the casket by her son Dr. Dennis, daughter in law Dr. Marsha Bialaszewski and granddaughter Jessica. The pall bearers were Matt Woloszyn, James Sarzynian, Stevie Socha, Don Cieslewicz, Roger Levandoski, and James Macklem. the readings were by Dr. Marsha Bialaszewski, and Jessica Bialaszewski Rose, General intercessions by Sr. Rachel Mikolajczak CSSF, gift bearers Natalie Kolassa and Jenny Naruszewski. A Eulogy was given by Dr. Marsha Bialaszewski, and Interment was in St. Hedwigs Cemetery. The Parish Rosary Society was also in attendance as Honor Guard. Arrangements are by the R.
