Joanne Goulding, 77 years old, of Brocton, New York passed away surrounded by her loving children on Wednesday evening, February 22, 2017 at Hamot Hospital in Erie, Pa. after a sudden illness.
She was born in Brad-ford, Pennsylvania on January 20, 1940 to the late Floyd and Hazel Warner Eddy. Joanne has resided in the local area the majority of her life and was a graduate of Brocton Central School District.
She was a retired laborer working for Jamestown Plastics and the former Niagara Therapy of Brocton, New York. Joanne greatly enjoyed her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and playing pinochle. She loved and was very active in her Hope Rising Church of Brocton, New York.
Joanne is survived by one daughter, Joy Jewell of Brocton, New York, and one son, James Goulding of Falconer, New York. Four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Donna Delcamp of Sherman, New York, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 at Hope Rising Church, 9 Highland Ave. in Brocton, New York. The Rev. Brett Davis will officiate. Interment will be private at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Ave., Brocton, New York, on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9.
