Loretta “Lou” (Sadowski) Kowalski
Loretta “Lou” (Sadowski) Kowalski, age 88 of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Zephyrhills, FL, and Dunkirk, NY, passed peacefully on June 30, 2017 after a long battle with Parkin son’s Disease. Born September 28, 1928, the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Kondzielski) Sadowski.
She is survived by four children, Gary (Mary Jane) Kowalski of Fredonia, Kimberly (Andrew Schrantz) Kucmierz of Sarasota, FL, David (Lynda) Kowalski of Grove City, OH and Sandra (Daniel Burghardt) Kucmierz of Cary, NC; nine grandchildren, Scott Kowalski, Michelle (Paul) Abate, Allan (Ashton) Kucmierz, Michael Kucmierz, Jonathan and Nathaniel Kowalski and Christopher, Andrew and Bradley Kucmierz. Four greatgrandchildren and one on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews also survive.
Predeceased by her parents, husband, Norman “Sharkey” Kowalski and one sister, Ann Fabritius.
There will be a graveside service on July 22, 2017 at the Holy Spirit Columbarium in St. Mary’s Cemetery at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Sarasota, FL. Arrangements by National Cremation and Burial Society, Sarasota, FL.
