Lee (Lenore June Miller) Corsi

Lee (Lenore June Miller) Corsi of Jacksonville, FL, the beloved wife of the late Samuel Corsi Jr. of Dunkirk, NY, died February 19, 2018.

She was born June, 3, 1934, the daughter of her loving parents, the late Anson E. and Genevieve (Strohlein) Miller, of Fredonia.

Lee lived in Dunkirk for many years before moving to Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Terrie Lynn (Schwertfager) Darbee of Dunkirk, and her sister and best friend Donna (Miller) Mills of Jacksonville, FL.

Lee grew up in Fredonia, graduated from Fredonia High School, Class of 1952 and was a varsity cheerleader. She was employed at Rusch’s restaurant for many years, and was a school bus driver for the Fredonia Elementary School for several years. In the summer months she was the owner-operator of the “Hungry Hut” food stand at Wright Park in Dunkirk, NY.

Lee was a passionate NY Yankees and Denver Broncos fan. She always made family and friends feel at home when visiting. She would always say, “If you don’t get enough to eat, it’s your own damn fault.”

Lee will be deeply missed, but will always be in the hearts of her surviving family: brother, “Skip” (Stennet) Miller, Jacksonville Beach, FL; sister, Gloria (Miller) Rhinhart, Kissimmee, FL; son, Dennis R. “Schwartz” Schwertfager, Mesa, AZ; daughter, Tracie J.
