David M. Tiffany, Jr.
David M. Tiffany, Jr., age 49, of Shippensburg, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in the Shippensburg Health Care Center, in Shippensburg, Pa., due to complications from type 1 diabetes and melanoma.
He was born August 31, 1968 in Binghamton, NY, the son of David M., Sr. and Margaret M. Tiffany.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J. Lee and Louise M. Tiffany; and Ira G. and Harriet K. McBee; his father-in-law, Darwin Mills; and a sister, Angela Everts-Funt.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his wife of 23 years, Michele (Everts) Tiffany; his children, Sheena (Nicholas) Savani; Zachary David Tiffany; and Abigail Leigh Tiffany; a grandson, Ty Ross Savani; a sister, Katherine Portia Tiffany; his mother-in-law, Ethel Mills; aunts, Nancy (Warren) DeWitt, and Lynn (Roland) Salmon; and several cousins.
A service of remembrance will be held at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Rev. Terry Martin-Minnich will officiate. Interment will be in the North Jackson Cemetery, in North Jackson, Pa., at the convenience of the family. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Chambersburg Hospital, in Chambersburg, Pa., and the University of Maryland Medical Center, in Baltimore, Md., for their caring support over the years: and more recently the staff at the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
