Eugene E. Czysz, 77, of Dunkirk died Sunday morning (March 4, 2018) at home. He was born June 15, 1940 in Dunkirk, the son of the late Edward and Irene (Wysocki) Czysz. A lifelong Dunkirk resident, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1963. Eugene had been employed as an electrician by Al Tech Specialty Steel Corp. in Dunkirk, retiring in 2017. Survivors include three daughters, Lisa (Kevin) Noody of Cassadaga, Dawn (Scott) Wilcox of West Winfield, NY, and Tammy (Steven) Galardo of Dun- kirk; two sons, Sean Czysz and Mark Czysz, both of Dunkirk; four grandchildren, Bridget Wilcox, Bri- anna Wilcox, Joshua Galardo, and Alyssa Galardo; three brothers, James Czysz of Florida, Edward (Eliza- beth) Czysz of Tennessee, and Michael (Sarah) Czysz of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clara C. Czysz. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrange- ments are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
