Linda K. Lamb

Born December 31, 1934 in Gowanda, NY, the daughter of Howard and Bernice (Strickland) Taft.

Linda married Floyd N. Lamb on January 28, 1956. Floyd and Linda were married in the former Perrysburg United Methodist Church, Floyd passed away May 23, 2016.

Floyd and Linda were the fourth generation that worked the family farm before their son Howard, “the fifth generation,” took things over. Even though both Floyd and Linda were up in age, they still did what they were able to in order to keep the farm going and helped their son as much as they could. Retirement is seldom a word that a farmer comprehends and acts upon.

Linda was also a secretary, she worked at the former AVM along with the former F&R Manufacturing, both in Gowanda.

Linda is survived by 2 children, her son, F. Howard Lamb of Gowanda and a daughter, Karen (John) Coudrey, also of Gowanda. Linda has one granddaughter, Lisa M. Coudrey. Linda is also survived by a brother-in-law Richard Johnson of Otto along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by two sisters, Eugenia Johnson and Cecil Johnston.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service that will take place SATURDAY, MARCH 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Pine Grove Cemetery (corner of Vail and Zoar Road).

If desired, memorials may be made to a local charity of one’s choice.
