Louis F. Seames Jr.

He was born Aug. 11, 1927 in Buffalo, the son of the late Louis and Edith (Setter) Seames. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946. Louis had been employed by the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, retiring as Superintendent of Transportation.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He also had a love for creating a village with his Lionel train sets.

Survivors include one son, Donald R. (Cindy) Seames of LeRoy; two daughters, Elizabeth J. (Gary) Worosz of Dunkirk and Susan L. Samuelson of Hudson, Fla.; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane (Kiernan) Seames who died Jan. 4, 2006.

Memorial services will be held Saturday morning, March 24, 2018 at 10 o’clock in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 334 Temple Street, Fredonia. Pastor William Novack will officiate. There will be no prior visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, Dunkirk, NY.
