Norma Jean Manning

She was born on June 30, 1933 in Olean, NY, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Ratzel) Doxtator.

Norma was a graduate of Silver Creek High School, Class of 1951. She worked for many years for Dunkirk Ice Cream, she also was employed by Silver Creek Schools in the cafeteria. One of her favorite jobs was running the kitchen at Hanover Fish & Game Club, where she enjoyed socializing with the members.

In her younger years she could be found working side by side with her husband Joseph on the family grape farm. Family was important to Norma, she cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Raymond (Kathi) Manning, Robert (Janice) Manning, Jean Manning, Janice (Mooch) Manning, Rick (Kelly) Manning, and Ronald (Deborah) Manning; 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Joseph Manning and a sister, Beverly Sutter.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 4-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11 a.m.
