Daniel L. Abram

Daniel L. Abram (“Dirt”), age 68, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2018.

He was born in Jamestown, NY on October 9, 1949, the son of the late John Abram and Fern Abram.

Dan was raised in Brocton, NY and graduated from BCS in 1967. After graduation he attended Jamestown Community College where he graduated in 1969. He then attended Central Missouri University where he graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Dan was a talented woodworker and in 1977, along with family and friends, he constructed a hunting cabin on Barnes Road in Portland where he enjoyed hunting, and hosting many Monday night gatherings with close friends and family picnics.

A compassionate gentle soul, Dan was an avid reader, Civil War buff who had a tremendous sense of humor and many who knew him would say his laughter was infectious.

Dan was a member of Tri-Parish Church in Brocton, NY serving as usher for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Abram. Dan is survived by his mother Fern, brothers Dale (Karen) Abram, Terry (Sharon) Abram of Brocton and sister Katherine (Scott) Veith of Erie, PA.

He is survived by many aunts, uncles & cousins, adored by many nieces and nephews.

Dan, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure; you are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure.

Interment will be private at a later date per

the request of the deceased.
