FREDONIA — Jeffrey Mathew Agnello, 55, of Matteson Street, Fredonia, formerly of St. Rita’s Home for Children, JN Adam Developmental Center and the Temple Street Group Home, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 23, 1962, the son of the late Joseph C. and Lauretta M. (Serchia) Agnello.

Jeffrey lead a full life filled with people who loved and cared for him. He enjoyed music, singing, community outings and all of his friends at Matteson Street and The Resource Center. Jeffrey was active in both the Special Olympics and Laurel’s Run. His family would like to especially thank his “family” and friends at Matteson Street, The Resource Center and HOSPICE, who cared for him daily and loved him dearly.

Survivors include three sisters, Patricia (Kevin) Gabreski, of Slippery Rock, PA; Joa (Julian) Traista, of Worthington, MA; Christine (Anthony) Bivona, of West Hartford, CT; two brothers, Joseph (Sharon) Agnello, of Wallingford, CT; David (Suzanne) Agnello, of Medfield, MA. Also surviving are nieces & nephews Meaghan (Steve) Regal and Erica Gabreski, Marissa and Jenna Bivona, Matthew, Ethan, Jordan and Liana Agnello.

Funeral Services will be held Monday morning at 10 o’clock from Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church, 39 Matteson Street, Fredonia. Committal Services will be held at 2 o’clock in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 3806 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
