Audrey G. Clemens, 76, of Fredonia, died Monday, May 28, 2018 at her home after a long illness. She was born in Buffalo NY to the late Edward and Virginia Clemens. A resident of Fredonia, she lived on Stone Rd. for many years.
Audrey was a practicing beautician in the Fredonia area spending the last 15 years at The Fredonia Place. She was also a member of the Moose Club in Dukirk and a former member of St. Joseph’s Church in Fredonia.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Schmidt and Dwayne Nickerson, both of Fredonia. One Daughter Leah Nickerson of Dunkirk, three brothers, Edward Clemens of FL, Jimmy Clemens of Cleveland, OH and David Clemens of Canadaigua, three sisters, Vanet Linhart of Fredonia, Patty Lundaren of Vera Beach FL and Karen Clemens of Harrisburg PA. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Rihanna Benner.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Schmidt, her second husband Louis Nickerson and one brother, Dennis Clemens.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. with funeral services held Friday at 1pm at The Fantauzzi Funeral Home, 82 E. Main St. Fredonia with The Rev. Joseph Walter officiating; relatives and friends are invited to attend. Donations to the family are appreciated.
