FORESTVILLE — Lester G. Lillie, 95, of Overhiser Road, Forestville, died Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at Buffalo General Hospital. He was born in the Town of Dayton, on August 6, 1922, the son of the late George and Hazel (Allen) Lillie.

Mr. Lillie was a graduate of Gowanda High School and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II. He was a Steelworker for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. Lackawanna, for 33 years. Mr. Lillie was a lifetime member of Sheridan VFW Memorial Post No. 6390. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and family time.

Survivors include a daughter, Janice (Douglas) Tubbs, of Forestville; three sons David (Linda) Lillie, of Forestville; Darl (Jane) Lillie, of Lake Worth, FL; and Thomas Lillie, of Forestville. Also surviving are six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Erna (Bartow) Lillie, who died February 5, 2006, two grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Judith Lillie.

Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Sunday afternoon from 3-4 p.m. from where Funeral Services will follow at 4 p.m., with Rev. Michael Pollock, pastor of Gage Chapel Community Church, officiating. Military Services will be conducted by members of Dunkirk Joint Veteran’s Council in the Funeral Home.
