Patric James Kilmartin

MAYVILLE — Patric James Kilmartin, 53, of Mayville, died Friday, May 4, 2018, at Westfield Memorial Hospital.He was born May 25, 1964, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late William and Janis Lewis Kilmartin.Patric had been a maintenance mechanic, electrician for Better Baked Foods, Welch’s and the Carriage House in Fredonia. He had previously worked as a carpenter and at the Feed Mill in Conewango.He enjoyed shortwave radio, gardening,fishing, sailing, Hockey Night in Canada with the Toronto Maple Leafs, riding his old Schwinn bicycle and vacationing on Cape Cod.Patric is survived by his wife, Sandra Weise Kilmartin, whom he married on December 14, 1996; a daughter, Chloe A. Kilmartin; a sister, Debbie (Jim) Ognibene of Falconer; three brothers, Bill (Sharon) Kilmartin of Falconer, Sean (Sue) Kilmartin of Falconer, and Kelly (LouAnn) Kilmartin of Mayville; two dogs, Ruby and Gaby; many nieces and nephews; and several close friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Shana Kilmartin.The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Mayville United Methodist Church, 81 S. Erie St., 14757. The Rev. Mark Parsons will officiate. Burial will be in Mayville Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018, at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville, 139 S.
