James “Jim” Lewis Cossin II, age 52, died July 21, 2018 Riverside Hospital Columbus, Ohio, born on June 12, 1966 in Fairborn, Ohio, at Wrights Patterson Air force Base, he was a mechanic, Teamster, owned ACE power washing/ Towing had an affinity for classic cars, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, dogs, Pepsi, and Cossin Reunions in Point Pleasant, WV.James was participant and leader with Valour House Ministry under Pastor Glen Johnson and co-started Cossin Recovery Ministries. Jim served at www.friendsministry.org. He attended Grove City Church of Nazarene, Calvary Chapel, Celebrate Recovery, AA. Jim struggled with addictions and in his final fall of traumatic bleeding head injury, God’s mercy took him home to eternity, however, his heart never stopped him from pursuing the love he held dear for his loved ones.Family include the late father James Lewis Cossin I (1940-2009), devoted mother Patricia Cossin, grandmother Gertrude Clark, late Paternal grandparents Dencil (1900-1966) and (Helen Smith 1903-83) Cossin, his sister Tammy (Ron) Murphy and nieces Erica, Nikki, Gabrielle, sister Terri Mayabb and nephew Alex, wife of his youth Melissa Williams and their 2 children Late son James Michael Cossin (1984-2013) 4 grand-daughters Karrera Cossin of (Marcy Perkins), Scarlett Craig of (Kym Craig), Syrena Cossin and Jamie Lynn Cossin of (Wanda Kincer)} and Daughter Stephanie (Scott) Ferguson and grandchildren Chloe and

Clayton Ferguson, daughter (of Angie) Lindsey (Tom) Hauling and grandchildren London, Harper & Kai Hauling, former enduring spouse Jeanette Elwell-Cossin and their children together Janelle Cossin, Jaylah Cossin, Joy Cossin and step children Christeina Smith and grandchildren Noah and Zyra, Jessie (Janelle) Barns and grandchild Mackenzie, Jaymie Barns and Julia Elwell and grandchild EighLeigh and Jim’s friend Tonya Schirtzinger families with whom he lived with in his last days. In honor to Jim we leave a message “peace on earth will come to stay, When we live Christmas everyday” Jim wanted unity in the peaces.Memorial Services will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11a.m. at First United Presbyterian Church in Silver Creek, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim’s name to First United Presbyterian Church 35 Park Place, Silver Creek, NY 14136.
