Carl E. Cook

SILVER CREEK: Carl E. Cook, 68, of Hanford Road, Silver Creek, died peacefully, August 27th, 2018 at his home, with his family & friends by his side. He was born in Oil City, PA on December 9, 1949, the son of the late Weaner and Mary (Slater) Cook.

Mr. Cook was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1968 and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, receiving the Bronze Star.

He worked as a Blocker for New Era Cap, Derby and at one time owned his own Auto Garage in Buffalo. Mr. Cook was a member of the NRA, SCOPE & Harley Davidson. He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, painting & doing property maintenance.

Survivors include his wife Debra L. (Dean) Cook, of Silver Creek, whom he married August 22, 1981, in Buffalo, two sons Wayne (Jenn) Brady, of Tionesta, PA; Carl “CJ” Cook, Jr., five sisters, Mary Jane Dittman, of Emlenton, PA; Karen (Joe) Ohl, Ethel (Robert) Macormac, both of Titusville, PA; Esther Seeley, of Meadville, PA; Anna Mae Rogers and a brother, Dale (Susan) Cook, of Centerville, PA. Also surviving are three grandchildren Austin, Angel & Harley Brady. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister Laura Cook and brother Weaner Cook, Jr.

There will be no prior visitation observed. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville.
