Debra A. Vert of Allen Street, lost her valiant fight to cancer Sunday August 5, 2018 at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo surrounded by family. Debra was born in Gowanda August 24, 1959 the daughter of Arnold and Doris (Heitzenrater) Vert. A 1978 graduate of Go-wanda Central Debra worked st various positions for the former Jubilee Foods in Gowanda. Cashier, Deli Manager and Office Clerk to name a few.Survivors include her brother Steven A. Vert of Gowanda along with a niece Bryanna Vert. Debra is also survived by many cousins including the Gens, Kuhs and the Hutch’s to name a few. Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center Street Gowanda, on Wednesday August 8, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. A private family burial will take place at the Jolls Cemetery where Debra will be laid to rest with her mother Dorie Vert who passed away June 4, of this year and her brother Douglas Vert who passed away in 1978.If desired, Memorial’s May be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
