Elizabeth A. "Betty" Buck
Betty passed away peacefully on June 29, 2018 with her daughter and grandson at her side. Betty was born on October 18, 1929.
She married Edward H. Buck on June 11, 1949. The couple had two daughters, Linda and Susan and lived in Dunkirk for over 50 years.
She had been a music teacher at St. Mary’s School, also church organist, choir director at both St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and St. Hyacinth Churches. She was also parish secretary at St. Elizabeth’s (St. Mary’s) for many years.
Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ed, her parents and sister.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Kaus from Salem, OR and Susan Smith from West Lebanon, NH. She also is survived by six grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild and a brother.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14.
