Inga-Lisa (Hultin) DeGolier, age 90, of East Lake Rd., Ripley, NY, died Thursday morning, August 28, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness.Inga-Lisa was born in Sweden on the Island of Gotland, in the City of Ljugarn a daughter of the late Uno and Elna Hultin.She immigrated to the United States in June of 1948 and had celebrated her 20th birthday on board ship, enroute to the US. She settled first in Michigan and became a licensed Beautician and came to Ripley, NY at the young age of 30 to begin her new life as a homemaker. Inga-Lisa had been employed by the former St. Barnabas House in the Food Service Department and retired after more than 20 years in Food Service at Brevillier Village in Harborcreek, PA.She loved music, especially a good Waltz and enjoyed the Music of Andre Reiu. She was an avid fan of Tennis, whether live or on TV, and often spoke of how her father had played a Tennis Match against the King of Sweden, when she was a little girl. She was very proud of her Swedish heritage and often reflected on her homeland. Inga-Lisa enjoyed dining out and going to the movies.She is survived by her

daughter, Lisa (John) Clicquennoi of Ripley, NY, with whom she made her home, as well as many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Inga-Lisa is further survived by her twin brother Inge Hultin of Sweden.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Tina LaFuria and by her brother Karl-Axel Hultin. Friends may call on Wednesday evening, August 29, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY.
