Mary J. (Crawford) Michael

She was born in Rimersburg, PA on August 23, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Mason and Annie (Shoup) Crawford.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Michael; daughter, Helen Jane; brother, Carl Crawford.

She is survived by her three daughters, Cindy Simone (John) of Brocton, NY, Rose Stromyer of North East and Deana Hazen (Steve) of Brocton, NY; three granddaughters; four great-grandchildren and one grand dog, Odie. Mary is also survived by a sister, Grace King of Derby, NY; brother Ed Crawford (Carol) of Rimersburg, PA; sister, Linda Mineweaser (Albert)of North East; several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church in North East and enjoyed making several quilts for the area nursing homes and making pies and cookies.

Mary was very grateful for the time and special care that her sister Linda gave her.

She was under the care of Great Lakes Hospice and the family would like to extend a very special thank you to her nurses Denny Seth and Christina Scannell.

Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St. on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
