Gail L. Olmstead, 82 of Sinclairville, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at home.Born June 6, 1936 in Dunkirk a daughter of the late Laverne and Dorothy Smith Reynolds. She was a 1954 Graduate of Dunkirk High School.Gail assisted her husband with the daily operation of
the family dairy farm and was a devoted full-time wife, mother and grandmother. In earlier years she also worked at Cockaigne Ski Resort, Red Barn, and the South Dayton Canary.She enjoyed reading, being involved with sled dogs and loved spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.Wife of 64 years to Jay Olmstead, whom she married Oct. 6, 1954; mother of Joyce Crandall of Jamestown, Bonnie (late Paul)
Sischo of Cherry Creek, Jay (Shirla) Olmstead, Jr., Terry (late Louie) Nickerson all of Sinclairville and the late Donna Brezner; grand-mother of, Michael and Jamie Crandall, Joshua and Cassey Brezner, Jason and Cody Sischo, Edward and Wynter Nickerson; great- grandmother of six with one great great-grandson; mother in law of Mike Brezner; sister of the late Patsy (late Don) Whitaker and Donald (late Alberta) Reynolds.
