Roger L. Steger

surrounded by his family. He was born November 23, 1934, in Fredonia to the late Harry A. and Minnie I. (Frasier) Steger. Roger married the love of his life Sally Bialaszewski on June 18, 1955. They were happily married for 63 years at the time of his passing. Together they raised six children Sandra Lee of Fredonia, Donald (Cathy) Steger of Fredonia, Dale (Cheryl) Steger of Ripley, Rodney (Rhonda) Steger of Forestville, Harry Steger of Ohio, and Sharon (Tom) Atwell of Gerry. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, his sister Marie Emke of Portland, and his brother James Steger of Fredonia, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Wise, his brothers Bruce, Robert, and Jay and granddaughter Samantha Steger. Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 am-1 pm at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, where funeral services will follow at 1 pm. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
