Joann C. Wilson, 76, of Silver Creek, NY passed away on Wednesday morning March 13, 2019 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk, NY after having Alzheimer’s for a number of years and with her family by her side.

She was born in Buffalo, NY on the 4th of August 1942, the daughter of the late Charlotte (Baker) Lindenau. Joann graduated from Kensington High School in Buffalo. In elementary school she met her future husband, whom she married on December 23, 1961 in Buffalo.Joann had a variety of jobs she retired as a real estate broker for Midtown Realty in Fredonia, NY. Her number one and best job was being a devoted homemaker for her family. She loved to cook and bake for them. She was a fun loving and caring person. Joann enjoyed traveling around the USA with her husband. In addition, Terry and her liked to go to the local casino’s to play the slots, black jack and their daily walks around the neighborhood. She will be greatly missed.Her memberships included the Chautauqua Chamber of Commerce, Silver Creek Kiwanis, VFW and the Fireman’s Club.Joann is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Terence H. Wilson, a son Keith (Dorisa) Wilson of Roy, Utah, a daughter Kathy (Dennis) Dloniak of Portland, NY, nine cherished grandchildren, Kiona (Robert) Stern, Nicholas (Julie) Dloniak, Trisha (Ryan) Waller, Derek (Cheri) Dloniak, Nadine, Jamie, Keith II, Michael and Clarisa Wilson, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, also her canine companion Ho-ward.

In addition to her mother Joann was preceded in death by a sister, Carole Mathes, three brothers, Norman, Tommy, and James Lindenau, also a daughter-in-law Carlene Correy.Relatives and friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek on Saturday March 16, 2019 from 9 until the time of services at 11a.m., with Rev.
