Gerald Ward Williams Sr.

Williams, Gerald Ward, Sr. 81, of San Luis Obispo, Fort Pierce, FL, formerly of Silver Creek, passed away Thursday, February 14th, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Lackawanna, on February 23, 1937. Loving Husband of Linda Ann (Pagano) Williams, father of Susan Williams and Gerald W. Williams, Jr., stepfather of Theresa Nickerson and Suzanne Talley and brother of Marylou Woelfel. Also surviving are two grandchildren Johann Bartges and Meghan Williams, two step-grandchildren DJ McDermott, III and Joneece Talley, three step-great-grandchildren Kendra McDermott, Faryn and Bryce Talley and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Guilford and Margaret (O’Brien) Williams, a sister Marge Whalen and a brother James Williams. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning, July 20th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, 165 Central Avenue, Silver Creek, from 10:30-11 a.m. from where a Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life will follow at11 o’clock, with Rev. Daniel Fiebelkorn pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery Silver Creek, where Graveside Military Services will be conducted. The family suggests memorials may be made either to Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity, 780 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, NY 14218 or Our Lady of Mt.
