Lawrence A. “L.T.” Nadeau Jr., 42, of Buffalo, NY died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 21, 2019 in Buffalo, NY.

L.T. was born on July 2, 1977 in Dunkirk, NY, the son of Lawrence A. Nadeau Sr. and Denise Gorndt.

L.T. was a graduate of Silver Creek High School in 1995, where he played football for the Black Knights. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy and served his country from 1995-1998.

L.T. worked in the construction industry with his Uncle Paul Gorndt, he was an accomplished carpenter and drywaller. In his free time he had many interests fishing, camping, tinkering with cars, listening to all types of music and hanging out with his friends, he also collected butterflies, baseball cards and coins. L.T. especially enjoyed spending time with his wife and children. L.T. fought a courageous battle with drug addiction.

L.T. is survived by his father Lawrence A. Nadeau Sr. of Rochester, NY; his mother, Denise Gorndt of Silver Creek; a son Richmond Nadeau of Buffalo; a daughter, Brooke Nadeau of Buffalo; a sister, Christyne Nadeau of Rochester; two brothers, Jay Nadeau of Rochester and Nick (Ashley) Nadeau of Syracuse, NY; his paternal grandmother, Anna Nadeau of Glen Cove, NY; a niece, Olivia Nadeau of Rochester; his Aunt Margaret Gorndt of Silver Creek; also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richmond “Bumps” and Ann Marie Gorndt, his paternal grandfather, Roland Nadeau, Uncle Paul Gorndt and many special friends.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on Mon-day, July 29, 2019 from 5-7 p.m., where funeral services will follow immediately at 7 p.m. Burial will be private in the Mt Carmel Cemetery, Silver Creek.
