Richard P. Szymanski
Richard P. Szymanski, 63, of Ball Hill Road, Forestville, passed away Monday, July 8th, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital, following a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
He was born in Gowanda, on November 28, 1955, the son of the late Major and Violet (Chzanowski) Szymanski.
Mr. Szymanski was a graduate of Pine Valley Central School, Class of 1973. He worked for South Dayton Super Duper, the former Curtice Burns, Comstock Foods & Clifffstar Corporation before retiring due to ill health.
He was known as “Bear” to his family & friends, his favorite activity was the landscaping and upkeep of his property. Bear was a fan of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres & especially the New York Yankees.
Survivors include two brothers, Bill (Debbie) Szymanski, of Forestville; Bob Szymanski, of Ashville a niece Jennifer (Steve Meadows) Szymanski and her four children. Besides
his parents he was predeceased by a brother Walter Szymanski. As per his request, there will be no visitation or services observed.
