Donna L. Orshaw

in North Carolina.

Donna was born in Sayre, Pa. February 16, 1932 the daughter of Fred and Ruth (Dibble) Shaffer.

Donna retired from the former JN Adam Developmental Center where she worked as a personnel clerk, she was a member of the Gowanda United Methodist Church.

Prior to the family moving to Gowanda in the late ’70’s the family resided in Elmira.

Survivors include 2 daughters; Pamela Orshaw of Melbourne, Fla., Wendy (Malcolm) Cully of Hamburg, 2 sons; James (Dana Shonbeck) Orshaw of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Robert (Olga) Orshaw of Cornelius, N.C. 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive as does a sister Carol Merrill of Waverly along with several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband Glenn W. Orshaw, Glenn passed away August 3, 1982, her son David Orshaw, David passed away June 24, 1991, 2 brothers; Raymond and Glen Shaffer along with a sister Doris Gippert.

Friends may call Friday September 13, 2019 at the Gowanda United Methodist Church 30 North Chapel St. Gowanda from 2-4 p.m. where a Celebration of Life Service will commence at 4 p.m.

A family burial will take place Saturday September 14, 2019 @ 3 p.m. in the Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens, Pa. where Donna will be laid to rest next to her husband and son.
