Richard Meyer Jr.
Richard “Rick” Meyer, Jr., age 57, of Buford, Georgia, formerly of Fredonia, N.Y., passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at his home with his family by his side after a year battle with cancer. He was born May 27, 1962 in Memphis, TN. Richard was a graduate of Fredonia High School. He was the owner of Concrete Solutions and an active member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford. He loved football, particularly Buffalo Bills and UGA football and NASCAR. Rick was able to enjoy this past
4th of July at the annual Shore Acres family get-together tending the fire, as always, with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Dawn Meyer; three sons: Shawn Meyer, Nicholas Meyer and Jacob Meyer, all of Georgia;
three daughters: Lauren (Michael) Cole, Kayla Meyer and Madison Meyer, all of Georgia; grandchildren: Lily Cole and Bennett
Cole, Noah Meyer, Kaden Meyer, all of Georgia; his mother Carolyn (David) Lewandowski of Fredonia, brothers: Scott (Sabrina)
Meyer of Georgia, his sisters Melissa (John) Robertson of South Carolina, Cindy (Ray) Coniglio of Fredonia and Linda (Bill) Dowdell of Georgia, nieces: Sarah Meyer of Georgia and Paige Robertson of South Carolina and many friends.
Richard is predeceased by his grandmother Dorothy Kinner, a brother David J, Lewandowski and his father Richard A. Meyer, Sr.
