GOWANDA — John H. Kiefer, age 67, of Rte. 39 passed away Tuesday evening November 12, 2019 at the Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo. John was born February 6, 1952 the son of John and Jeannie Kiefer.John retired from Cattaraugus County where he had been employed as a bridge welder.
Survivors include ; Randy Lemk of Little Valley, grandchildren Jessica M. (Rick) McKay , Christina M. Lemk, Derek J. Bates and Joshua R. Lemk, great grandson Hunter M. McKay. John is also survived by his 2 four legged canine companions Spooky and Stormy who were like his children.John was preceded in death by his long time companion Phyllis Butcher, Phyllis passed away September 23, 2018. A Celebration of Life /luncheon will be held Sunday November 17 at 2 p.m. from the Gowanda Volunteer Firemen’s Hall, 230 Aldrich St., Gowanda.Arrangements are by the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME, 44 Center St. Gowanda.
