Inez Whitt
Inez Whitt, 97, of Fredonia, died January 17, 2020 at the Dunkirk Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was a resident of the Fredonia area for over 47 years, after moving from Buffalo in 1972.
Inez was a homemaker who loved caring for her home and yard and loved fishing. Her entertainment was going to live plays and musicals. As an avid bible reader and one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she enjoyed sharing with others what she learned from the bible and attending her Christian meetings.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Frank Whitt Sr., all of her 6 siblings and her son Frank Whitt Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters Virginia (Willie) Bragg and Viola (Miller) Benbow, 5 grandchildren- Michael Whitt, Derrick Bragg, Kim Marie (Arthur Jr) Eve, Anthony Whitt and Lolita Chauntae Whitt. Also surviving are great grands, great great grands and many nieces and nephews.
Family hour at 11 am Saturday, January 25th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 970 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY. Funeral to immediately follow at 12 noon. No prior visitation.
